Fun, one of a kind jewelry for the owl lover, the WISE OWLS handmade earrings are stylishly trendy and super sparkly. The unique beauties feature opalized white Czech glass owls, copper rondelles set with sparkling Czech crystals, white opal AB Swarovski crystals, copper and sterling silver. The two-sided Czech beads were created with a base glass of translucent opalized white glass with an intricate owl design pressed into both sides of the beads. A metallic gold Picasso finish was applied to give an aged flair and to bring out the amazing details of the feathers, beak and eyes. Because the glass is opalized and also translucent, the earrings glow amazingly when worn. And, since the owls are two sided, the earrings look fabulous from any angle.
To add extreme sparkle to the owl earrings, two types of glittering crystals were used. Sitting on top of each owl’s head, like a crown, is a patinaed copper rondelle set with six clear Czech glass crystals. Nestled into the top of each rondelle is a faceted 6 mm Swarovski crystal bicone in white opal coated with an aurora borealis (AB) finish applied to half the crystal. Depending on the angle of the light, the AB finish flashes a rainbow of colors - be sure to look at all the photos to get an idea of the extreme beauty of the crystals! Sterling silver French hook earwires with copper bead accents finish the owl earrings. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the WISE OWLS earrings were specifically created for the woman who loves owls and loves to wear one of a kind artisan jewelry!
