Orange Yellow Earrings, Vintage Czech Glass Swarovski Handmade Jewelry
Item Description
If you’re looking for colorful handmade jewelry that captures the sun drenched essence of summer, the sparkly CITRUS KISS earrings are certainly for you! This one of a kind earrings were created with vintage bicolor yellow and orange Czech glass ovals, glittering Swarovski crystals in two colors and sterling silver. Made somewhere between the 1940’s-1950’s, the vintage oval-shaped Czech beads were created from an almost 50/50 combination of lemon yellow glass and tangerine orange glass. The faceteing of the colorful glass beads adds subtle sparkle to the overall design.
Adding a tremendous amount of sparkling fun, faceted Swarovski crystal bicones are found on the top and bottom of each Czech bead. Mimicking the colors of the ovals, yellow crystals called “light topaz shimmer” and orange ones called “fire opal” were used. On one earring the fire opal crystal is on top with the light topaz shimmer on the bottom. The Swarovski crystals are reversed on the other. The sterling silver French hook earwires also have crystal accents, one with orange and one with yellow.
