If you or someone you know adores the majestic beauty of horses, the CABALLOS SALVAJES handmade earrings are a perfect gift! One of a kind jewelry for a horse lover, the unique earrings feature artisan two-sided running horses / sun charms, artisan brown / purple lampwork glass beads, metallic purple Czech glass discs and sterling silver Swarovski crystals. The beautiful wild horses and sun symbol charms were artisan designed and hand cast from high quality, lead free pewter here in the U.S. Southwest petroglyph-inspired running horses are inscribed on one side and a sun symbol design is on the other. They were oxidized and then polished to bring out the details. The detailing of the spotted horses (perhaps appaloosas?) are superb and the design is incredibly dynamic. The back side of each pewter charm has a sun design, a circle with multiple rays. The charms have a lovely rustic hammered look on both sides and glow like old, heirloom sterling silver (much more silvery looking than the photos show). As can be seen in the photos, the horses are similar but not exactly the same.
Above the dangles, perfectly complementing the horses and sun charms, are dark and medium brown artisan lampwork beads with unexpected lavender purple swirls running them. Stacked on top of each lampwork bead are two medium purple Czech glass discs with a glowing metallic purple finish, highlighting the swirls in the lampwork beautifully. Sterling silver French hook earwires finish the unique horse and sun earrings. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the beautiful CABALLOS SALVAJES earrings will be a treasured jewelry gift for the woman who adores horses and loves to wear unique Southwest petroglyph-inspired jewelry! “Caballos salvajes” is Spanish for “wild horses.”
