Filled with lively colors of the tropics, the TROPICAL TREASURES handmade flower earrings are definitely eye-catchers! One of a kind jewelry for the woman who loves flowers, the uniquely fun beauties feature orange and blue Czech glass flowers, orange glass melon beads, copper and sterling silver. Created from two colors of premium Czech glass, the flowers are shades of rich orange and lovely sky blue, each flower a bit different from the other. To bring out the recessed areas of the five petaled flowers and to add an aged look, a brown Picasso finish was applied, settling into the center of the flowers and along the edges of the petals. Since the back sides of the flower beads are not as vibrant as the front (see photo # 12), the earrings have been wrapped tightly so the more colorful side is always in front.
A bright orange Czech glass melon bead sits on top of each flower, separated by a copper daisy spacer and a copper double spacer. The ridged melon beads have a gold Picasso wash which settled into the recessed areas for added eye appeal. Sterling silver French hook earwires with copper bead accents finish the earrings. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the one of a kind TROPICAL TREASURES earrings are sure to be a fun gift for the woman who loves flowers, jewelry that can be worn year long!
