What a fun gift for the woman who adores frogs and loves one of a kind artisan jewelry!.The unique FROSC handmade earrings feature hand carved bone frog dangles, sparkling Swarovski crystals, sterling silver chain and sterling findings. The frog dangles were individually hand carved on both sides from light beige cow bone. A black, dark brown and whitish dye was applied to bring out the amazing details of the recessed areas of the frogs, especially the whimsical eyes. Since the frog beads were individually hand carved, all sides are similar but also slightly different. Because they are two sided, the earrings look wonderful from any angle when worn.
Since most frogs are associated with the color green, glittering 6 mm olivine green Swarovski crystal bicones are found above the bone beads, separated by a small sterling silver daisy spacer. To add lively movement to the earrings, six links of shiny sterling silver box chain were added, connecting the frogs and crystals to the sterling silver French hook earwires. A 4 mm olivine Swarovski crystals was added to each earwires for even more sparkle. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the one of a kind FROSC frog earrings were created for the woman who loves fun and flirty artisan designed frog jewelry! “Frosc” is Old English for “frog.”
