The fun PINK POSIES handmade flower earrings will make a perfect jewelry gift for Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, birthdays . . . or just because. Sure to bring a smile to the face each time they’re worn, the one of a kind earrings feature bronzed pink Czech glass flower beads, copper rondelles with clear Czech crystals, pink Swarovski crystals, copper and sterling silver. The two-sided beads were made in small batches in the Czech Republic from opaque pink silk glass with a flower (perhaps an aster?) design pressed into both sides of the coin shaped beads. To bring out the details and to give an aged look, a metallic bronze Picasso finish was added - the finish isn't exactly the same on each side. Because the flower beads are two-sided, the sweet earrings look fabulous from any angle when worn.
To add loads of sparkle, two types of crystals were used. Just above each flower bead sits a copper rondelle set with seven small faceted clear Czech crystals. Nestled into each rondelle is a faceted 4 mm Swarovski crystal bicone in a color called “light rose.” They perfectly complement the color of the flower beads. Sterling silver French hook earwires with copper bead accents finish the lovely earrings. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the unique PINK POSIES earrings were created for the woman who adores flowers and loves to wear one of a kind artisan jewelry!
- Two-sided pink Czech glass flower coin beads: app.12 mm (0.47”); metallic bronze Picasso finish
- Copper rondelles with clear Czech crystals: app. 5 mm x 3 mm (0.20” x 0.19”)
- Swarovski crystals: faceted 4 mm (0.16”) light rose bicones
- Metal: copper and sterling silver
- Earwires: sterling silver French hooks with copper bead accents
- Length: just a bit over 1.5” / 3.8 cm measured from the top curve of the sterling silver earwires
