The one of a kind FEARLESS raised hand earrings are filled with a beautiful symbolic meaning. Handmade spiritual jewelry that is an encouragement to women, the unique boho earrings feature rustic upraised hand sterling beads, colorful artisan ceramic dangles and silver glass beads. An upheld hand gesture, abhaya mudra, is found on many Thai and Burmese Buddha statues, as if saying “hello” or “stop,” representing fearlessness. The two-sided, high shine sterling hand beads are cross-shaped with an upraised hand in the center and a background of dark patina. Three dark dots are found on each side of the “frame.” The abhaya mudra hands have a rustic vibe, each side similar but also just a bit different. Since the beads are two-sided, the earrings look great from any angle. *** Because of the almost mirror-like finish of the hand beads, they reflected various things as I was photographing. Rest assured, the sterling beads have a high gloss, silver finish.
Hanging under each hand bead, adding a wonderful boho vibe, are colorful ceramic dangles. Artisan made and hand painted, they are banded in eye-catching colors: turquoise blue, yellow orange and red. Three lines of dots circle each spike, mimicking the dots on the abhaya mudra beads. Sterling silver French hook earwires with sparkling faceted Czech glass silver beads finish the unique earrings. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the FEARLESS earrings were created for the woman who loves meaningful jewelry that resonate with encouraging symbolism.
